Autobiography: Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela is indeed a brave man whose spirit dares to fight for the rights of his people during the days when the white ruled South Africa. He believed in freedom and equal rights of all his people no matter what their colour is. He suffered lots of hardship during his 27 years in prison. The cell he lived was confined, the insulation for cold weather is minimal and he also suffered from hard labour work. He also suffered from mistreatment by the prison guards but he never gave up. Incredibly, this fighting spirit and soul were never dampened by what he had been through.  After 27 years, South Africa is free from ruling by the whites and he was the first South African president to be elected in a fully representative democratic election. To be able to fight for what you truly believed in and dare to dream is better than giving up without trying.
