Nelson Mandela is indeed a brave man whose spirit dares to fight for the rights of his people during the days when the white ruled South Africa. He believed in freedom and equal rights of all his people no matter what their colour is. He suffered lots of hardship during his 27 years in prison. The cell he lived was confined, the insulation for cold weather is minimal and he also suffered from hard labour work. He also suffered from mistreatment by the prison guards but he never gave up. Incredibly, this fighting spirit and soul were never dampened by what he had been through. After 27 years, South Africa is free from ruling by the whites and he was the first South African president to be elected in a fully representative democratic election. To be able to fight for what you truly believed in and dare to dream is better than giving up without trying.

Ethnic Minority Group: Reflection on African American Writings
In this reality/materialistic world, the quality of life each person live will depend on their social status, personal wealth, their race and even religion. No one can choose to be born in the family they hope to live in.
Life is unfair for those who have to live in hunger everyday and barely make a living while some were born with silver spoon ( don’t have to lift and finger to work in their whole life).
No matter where you are born, what colour you are born with, what is your religion, life goes on no matter what. It is very important to be appreciative and live every day to the fullest.
Ethnic Minority Group: Reflection on Native American Story
It is very important to trust and respect the opinion of your parents or friends. Your parents and friends are always there to help you and protect you while those who you are not familiar of might have different thoughts.
For those who are never satisfied with what they have, they are easy victim to temptation from outsiders. They are easily lured by false promises of ‘happiness, wealth, health or peace of mind’. They tend to believe the words of their deceiver and once they realized that they had been cheated, they could not free themselves without difficulty.
It is not a wise choice to judge a person by their appearance and it is even senseless to believe in promises of those whom you just met.
Fable: The Jay and The Peacock
A Jay venturing into a yard where Peacocks used to walk, found there a number of feathers which had fallen from the Peacocks when they were moulting. He tied them all to his tail and strutted down towards the Peacocks. When he came near them they soon discovered the cheat, and striding up to him pecked at him and plucked away his borrowed plumes. So the Jay could do no better than go back to the other Jays, who had watched his behaviour from a distance; but they were equally annoyed with him, and told him:
"It is not only fine feathers that make fine birds."
First of all, do not try to be someone who you are not. ‘Don’t wear size 8th shoes if your foot is not big enough’. For example, if one person ditch his/her friends or families in order to pursue his/her desire of hanging out with ‘rich and famous’ people, but unfortunately when those people know of your true identity and they distance themselves from you. You might end up losing more than you gain.
On the other hand, do not look down upon on your own origin e.g. your family, your race, your traditions, your friends and your country. Some people might not accept you as who you really are but your closest family and friends will never distance themselves from you unless to choose to distance yourself from them in the first place.

Fable: The Fox and The Crow
Video Of The Fox and The Crow
The moral of the story is stated in the last sentence, “Do not trust flatterers”. In other words, do not trust the words of those who you are not familiar with even though their words are music to your ears. People who are greedy and have evil intentions will do or say just about anything pleasing to you in order to get what they desire of. We human tend to lower our guard against others when we know them better and unfortunately, there are so many cases of people been cheated or their belongings and their feelings in the news.
